We take the health of our team and our guests very seriously; we’ve added many enhanced measures to ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable. While we have implemented the additional protocols below, we are also asking that our guests be mindful and respectful of other guests and staff, allowing for physical distancing as much as possible.
Pre-screening, surface sanitization, hand washing and physical distancing are the pillars of our stay safe protocols. However it is also vitally important that you feel comfortable and free of anxiety during your visit. By our very nature we are a high contact experience. While we can take steps to make you feel safe, we cannot guarantee your safety. If you are anxious at all about being around other people in this kind of setting, please stay at home and consider visiting sometime in the future.
A guest will be cleared to arrive at the Spa provided they meet the below criteria:
• It has been 14 days or more after testing positive for Covid-19 and has been symptom free for 72 hours
• It has been 14 days or more after returning from a trip outside of Canada
• It has been 14 days or more since caring for, or being in close proximity to, a person who has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been symptom free
• You have been symptom free from cold, flu or other contagious illnesses for 72 hours
We are defining symptoms as follows:
- New and-or persistent cough
- Sore throat
- Extreme fatigue
- Fever
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Loss of smell or taste
Guests who have concerns about COVID-19 will also be allowed to cancel with their deposit held as credit on file. Any guest who arrives with symptoms or who does not meet the criteria set out above will be denied entry by the senior manager in charge and a full refund will be processed. The decision to provide treatment to a guest will be at the sole discretion of the therapist.
Because of the information that we collect when you make a reservation, and because your visit with us follows a schedule of activities, we have the ability to contact trace should the need arise.
For our employees, we have a zero-symptom policy. Staff must complete a self- assessment prior to returning to work each day and are tested as required.
Physical Distancing
Our check-in and checkout has been modified to make it contactless. You do not need to come to the front desk to checkout. We encourage you to call or email if you have any questions about your bill.
Mask Use and Hand-Washing
Wearing of face coverings while indoors is required by staff and guests, the exception being guests or staff that have a medical reason why they cannot safely wear a mask or are unable to remove a mask without assistance.
Staff are instructed to wash their hands frequently throughout the day and Regulated Health Professionals and Spa Therapists will wash their hands between spa treatments. Face coverings will be worn by the spa staff and are mandatory for guests during spa treatments. We have disposable face masks available if you don’t have your own. The decision to provide treatment to a guest will be at the sole discretion of the therapist. Our treatment rooms will be disinfected between each treatment.
We have posted reminders around the building to encourage frequent hand washing, physical distancing and the use of face coverings while indoors. There are multiple locations to wash hands or use hand sanitizer throughout the Spa. It is up to our guests to self-monitor and ensure that they are an appropriate physical distance from other guests when indoors or outdoors.
Sanitization
For all cleaning and sanitization, we are using PreEmpt which has been approved by Health Canada as an effective disinfectant and sanitizer. We disinfect high touch surfaces throughout the day and spray down all common areas.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
